Rich could survive on crackers and cheese for a year if I let him. It's a Wisconsin thing, I guess. It's rubbing off on my son too, I think. He asks for cheese on everything, including peanut butter and jelly. I haven't given that to him, but one of his grandparents or Rich must have done so, because he insists it's delicious. But I think they get some of that from their dad, too. He would eat ANYTHING. When I take them places, whether it's someone else's home, or a restaurant, they will try things that I won't. And Rich is a very very very picky eater. It's that nature vs. nurture thing again. I would assume that eating habits are learned behavior, but we don't eat anything unusual in our home, so I guess a lot more behavior and character traits are inherited than I ever would have thought if Mike hadn't died when they were so young. Kevin was only 17 months old when he died, so he never had the opportunity to observe his father and learn from him. I'm surprised constantly by the things they do that could only come from their dad.
